Mark your calendar for March 12 - 14, it's Uteropia at Buggy! It promises to be a fun and informative weekend. On Friday, Heather Scearce from Conscious Body Pilates here in Madrona is offering a complimentary tour of her studio and 10 minute demonstration for 4 people interested in private Pilates training. This is open to anyone: prenatal, post-partum or non-pregnant! Please RSVP to hello@shop-buggy.com to reserve your spot asap and we'll send you the necessary information. On Saturday, Jennifer Sharon Photography will offer FREE belly shots to expectant moms 12-4pm. At 2pm Saturday and 11am Sunday Down to Earth Doulas will do a short demonstration of comfort techniques for labor. Spread the word to all your pregnant friends! Most exciting, we will now be carrying sexy and easy to wear nursing bras by Amoralia and Bella Materna. We will also have a great selection of hand-stitched blankets by Rebecca, swaddling blankets, nursing covers and more! You will be able to try on nearly-new maternity clothes, order a Goodie Bag for your ever-changing baby, or test out an Ergo Baby Carrier or Sling.

Knit Night is 7 – 10pm on the last Friday of the month, unless it falls on a holiday and then we host Knit Night the week before. Oh, and sometimes we take the summer off. It’s the perfect opportunity to work on an unfinished project that’s been sitting around for (ahem) years or to find inspiration to start something new. Knitting is such a wonderful way to socialize, feel productive and relax all at the same time. Come spend some time with neighbors and friends. All crafters welcome! You can also get help with your latest or oldest project. $5 for help.
